KARPATHOS TODAY The villages of Karpathos form two circles, which make the tour of the island. Beginning from Pigadia you can follow the way up to Aperi, pass from Volada, continue to Othos following the mountainside of the highest mountain of the island, Lastos. Then passing from Pyles the street starts to descend and leads to the west side of the island and towards the west coast side. Following the road and passing through Foiniki,  anglers’ village, we enter the village of Arkasa and head to Menetes high up the mountain. This is the last stop before we return to Pigadia and complete the small circle. (continue - external link)
